C/J Herefords began in 2004 with the purchase of two bred, polled Miniature Herefords. We prefer to breed polled animals as we find they are easier to work with and more popular among our buyers.
 
All our Herefords are very muscular and stocky in appearance, and all are registered with the American Hereford Association.
 
The goal at C/J Herefords is to improve the genetics of the Miniature Hereford. We hope to implement a breeding program that will produce the very best small Hereford, with a good disposition and great conformation. We make sure that every one of our animals is tame, very halter broke, and will lead quietly.
